Civilian figures for an Anderson Shelter?

Post by stu_the_flat »

My Daughter is doing the Second world war as her topic. One of her projects (needs to be completed in a couple of weeks) is an Anderson Shelter.

She wants to have some figures inside it and then build the shelter to what ever scale it needs to be. I am struggling to find any figures that fit the bill, She like this one but its more than I would like to spend and the wrong period.

Any thoughts would be great.

Ian is right, Stu: railroad figures like this by Preiser. I wish I could figure out how to copy a URL on the iPhone. The regular PC process for copy/paste sequence I‘ve used since 1984 doesn’t seem to work with the address box in Apple‘s browser on I phone.

That‘s Boris Gudinov, SOG, thanks. I was just chatting with my sweetheart here; she told me to try it again just as I thought to do so, and :O it worked.

Thank you guys. I found there is a new model shop fairly local to me so I popped in and was very happy to come away with these. My daughter's first time working with models. She is not impressed with the 1/35 scale but hopefully it will grow in her. Image

 I am trying to figure out (puns are always intended) how the street musicians will suit an Anderson shelter, but most especially, I hope the boy with the trumpet stays out on the street. :haha:
