Big hello from Shropshire!
Big hello from Shropshire!
Hi all
Newbie to RC (but not tanks, Ex Chieftain crewman) Just ordered the Heng Long Challenger 2 Pro kit and the Dorchester upgrade armour, arriving on Tuesday!
I’m also a armour modeller so I have big plans for a 1/16 scale Cr2, intention is to make it an Op Telic wagon used by my old regiment.
Will be upgrading the main armament with full stabilisation ( hopefully ).
No doubt I will have many noob questions, but in the meantime thought I’d best say hello!
Cheers
Steve

Chieftain! Yeah! Do the one in which you crewed. Welcome from the colonies. Do ask questions and keep us informed of your RC modeling. Photos are welcome.

Welcome along!
Re: Big hello from Shropshire!
Thought I’d start with the Challenger as it’s in desire livery ( and it looks nails with the Dorchester upgrade) and a cheaper option.Herr Dr. Professor wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 6:00 pm Chieftain! I do have my eye on the Haya Chieftain for the future though…
Let me get used to the layout on here and I’ll start posting as I go along

Do a couple searches, read some of the builds and then dive in! Welcome aboard.

Hi Trooper, Welcome to the Forum
We love questions and I reckon we might even get one right one day.
First IA for r/c tank building --RESEARCH.
By that I mean the model that most suits your pocket book, the gearbox, the control board and radio if you choose not to stay with the makers fittings etc.
Enjoy this place it can be fun as well as educational

Welcome to the forum Trooper Steve, from the New York.
Looks like you're already getting on well with the boys. I look forward to you sharing your tank/project.
