New to Forum from KY USA

Post by B52Chief »

Hi,

Just getting back into RC Modeling. Almost finished with a Rockhobby 1/6 MB Scaler build. Originally bought the Scaler to build an SAS Jeep like lmcq11's 1/10 scale (using the same source image). Got a bit impatient to run it, went ahead outfitted it with US accessories. Still have the 1/6 Dragon "Desert Raider" for parts, so I guess I'll just have to buy another RC Scaler.

Will do a separate post for the U.S. version"...

Hello, Chief! Welcome from a somewhat colder Wisconsin. In Louis, Imcq11, you certainly have chosen an excellent RC modeler to follow. I think I used to pester him about writing books on his builds, but he wisely ignored me so he could continue to have fun. Please do put a post in viewforum.php?f=80 showing your U.S. Jeep.

Thx,

Been down that book road with another subject matter. Only I actually did draft a manuscript for a Suzuki Samurai engine swap wiring.

Hi, Welcome to the Forum
I bought a 1/10 Jeep which after a paint job and the addition of a canvas tilt and a pair of wipers began to look reasonably decent,
I managed to get a 2 wheel 1/4 ton trailer to hook on the back from someone on the Forum which illustrates we dont just offer advice
Enjoy this place and please join in with any thread that catches your eye.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Welcome along Mr Chief from the Gold Coast of Australia out of New Zealand.
I went on the fizz with a bunch of pilots from Vance AFB one day/night in Enid Oklahoma.
The fighter jocks really hung it on the only guy who was the Bomber Pilot.
The slick guys all (no joke) looked like a young Maverick!! Sunglasses & all.
Was a great session and the Bomber guy really showed he was the most responsible out of all of them.
