3D printed 1/10 scale Comet

Post by Styx 2022 »

Here is my 3D printed Comet. The files came from 3dprintedtanks, https://www.3dprintedtanks.com/comet2/
It has full RC with sound.
The main bulk of the tank is printed in PLA, The tracks are printed in ABS, they took 80 hours!, and the drive sprockets are printed in a carbon filled nylon. The tyres are printed in TPU
A build log can be found in the 3D Printing Forum.
Thanks for looking.
Steve.

Thanks MrChef. I have just read your thread on your Tiger, you certainly know your onions! (pun intended lol)
My knowledge of tanks is zero but I love 3D printing. It has been great fun building the Comet and I definitely will be doing another tank project. Looking forward to seeing your finished Tiger.
Happy holidays
Steve.

My knowledge of tanks is zero as well. And my knowledge of computers and 3d printing is even less. Very impressive.
