My collection

Post by Woz »

Hi all, well it's been a while but due to lockdowns, a move and life generally getting in the way I've not had any time for tanks over the past few years. I finally got my tanks unpacked and when we had a sunny spell took them outside for a group shoot.

These are my finished tanks (the Beetle isn't RC yet)-

A few Tams I've picked up along the way

And a bunch of rtr's waiting to be worked on (these are what I let my mates kids use when they come round)

Also got about a dozen other projects that are in bits still in boxes (and I don't want to think about all the ones I've downloaded and are waiting to be printed).

You clearly got the virus. :-)
1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!

I'm a happy man. 8)

So that's what your Panther G looks like. Nice work there. I remember looking at your build post for it when I was researching for mine and saw some cool stuff then all of a sudden your file host crapped out and I never got to see your results or your Show off thread.

Nice collection you've amassed. Good on you for having some loaners too. Thats a great idea to get some new and younger enthusiasts into the action.

Glad you came back. Life is what it is.

Thanks. It's nice just having them sitting around instead of being hidden away in boxes.

@Kaczor - Here's a link to my Blog that has photos and builds for my tanks - https://warrenhudsonmodelling.blogspot.com/

Glad to see you back in action Woz, it's been a while! Some real rarities and beauties in your collection. You're going to need to fill out your Soviet lineage to match your Panzer evolution. a BT-7 and T-62 will fill the gaps!

Stunning! I first found your work via links on Shapeways when I was hunting for parts for a Priest or Lee/Grant conversion.Tons of goodies to chose from! Speaking of Grants--will you be marketing your turret design?
Again, stunning AFVs!

Hi Yes I hope to get the Grant turret up next year. I'm trying to get all my files sorted so I can upload them to Shapeways or 3DCults.
