Tiger 323 abt. 502 1943 heavily modified

Post by tomhugill »

Hey folks,

Another tiger up for sale today. This one has been very heavily modified to represent tiger 323 of abt. 502 on the eastern front.

She started life as a henglong but the only henglong is a little bit of the upper hull.

Turret is tamiya, as is the rear plate and the front armour. Exhausts are tamiya, tools re tamiya but with sla printed clamps. It has metal tow cables, wooden barrel cleaning rods, photo etch grills. Scratch built tow cable holders on the side of the hull, scratch built fender mounts. Damage to the turret bin achieved using thin alloy sheet to replace the plastic and then dented.

The turret has an led flash and a hidden battle system. It has servo recoil and elevation. As with the tamiya tiger the turret roof is removable for easy assess should it be required.

The lower hull is an asiatam metal lower with metal torsion bar suspesion. Has metal idlers and sprockets, metal tracks. Wheels are asiatam metal ones but have bearings and the high detail rubber tyres with the continental lettering neither of which the taigen have. Gearboxes are brass and very smooth.

On the electrics front the control board is a tk-80sp (so sounds can be changed if so desired) and the speaker is an fr-7 with a printed enclosure.

Price is £650. Happy to ship world wide at buyers cost and risk.
