HengLong 1/8 All Metal Tiger 1 parts and spares

Post by Muscleflex »

Hey all.
I’m currently in the process of purchasing the above tank. Kind of a long time wish for me since I first found out about it at least 5 years ago!

Anyhow, where can I get spares for this and any of you guys can offer maintenance tips etc? I’m not going to paint it. I’m going to keep it as is: all metal.

Thanks.

Quite the Tank you'll have there. I know nothing about it more than what I can read on the ToucanRC site- https://www.toucanhobby.com/products/hl ... iger1-dzn1 You'll likely not need too many spare parts. You'll see them fall off or break at that size, it would be hard to miss. But look at Toucan and see if they carry anything. I don't know what you'd need. I don't buy spare parts per se for my 1/16 tanks, I just have left over extra stuff from builds or extra accessory packs.

Hopefully someone here has experience that can help you more with it. Post some pics or a vid when you get her.

I don't have it yet. I won't be picking it up until later this month... but rest assured I WILL be posting loads of photos when I get it! :)

Thanks. Yep. I'll make sure to do some videos of it. hoping the runtime is long enough to actually drive it to my nearest park to do some woodland video especially now that it's nice and hot and dry outside. I don't know how 'waterproof' it is. I can't seem to find much info or owner's thread anywhere for this one.

According to the info on the Toucan link I provided above it has 50 minutes run time. So hope that works for you unless you get a backup battery.

And Muscleflex you may have to really Flex your Muscles because it also lists it at weighing in at 60 KG, that's around 132 lbs. to the rest of us. Not sure if that includes the listed "Lead Acid" battery.

Haha I know. It's heavier than me! :D
The weight includes the two batteries. I'm getting two new batteries with it as well so yeah, might be able to drive it straight to the park rather than struggle to load in my suv and unload. I think I'll need one of those wheelchair ramps
