Hi.
I'm a total newb when it comes to RC tanks. I'm actually more of a modeller than an RC guy.
I have picked up some 1/16 Heng Long tanks just for a bit of fun.
Now I'm trying to learn how to do a few things with them.
Hopefully you guys can help me out!
My first question is not far away ...........
Cheers!

Hi Mozit - welcome along. There are a few Aussies on here. Where are you from? What tanks do you have? Where did you buy them?

Welcome Mozit! That's how it started for me, too: I was returning to modeling in retirement (a typical story) and then I spotted some 1/16 Taigen tanks and thought they were models. Oh! They run! Wow! From there, I found a now defunct (
) Australian discussion list and across thousands and thousands of miles, I got lots of help.
I see your question about the 17 pounder. What are some of the other "few things" you have in mind for the HengLong tanks? Besides the Sherman, which tank(s) did you get?

Gday Mozit,
The good thing about starting with a Heng Long Tank is if you discover that this is not the hobby for you it has not taken all of the kids inheritance.
You will find you are surrounded by a lot of like minded people who wont tell you what to do but they will offer lots of advise some of it actualy helpful,
Enjoy this place and do ask lots of questions.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada!
"I have picked up some Heng Longs..."?
"Some" means more than one, so let's see the list!
Mike.
