Just joined, here’s my tanks

Post by Solly66 »

I have just joined and wanted to show my tanks. I seem to have accumulated all of these in the last few months. I built the tamiya Tiger 1, which is my first rc tank kit, although I haven’t put the decals on yet. I got the hobby engine Leopard from the boot fair today, but I might give that to my grandson eventually. The Heng Long Tiger is a non runner I got from the boot fair a few weeks ago. I just need to find a few rc tank enthusiasts near me.

"Howdy" from over the puddle! Thank you for putting up photos right away; that's makes for a great introduction. You say that you "seem to have accumulated all of these in the last few months." :haha: That's a great start: keep on rollin'! As you may already know, the Tiger I has been covered in many books, so you might have the opportunity to choose markings from an aftermarket decal maker. Fire at will any questions you have.

Better yet why not do what the German Army did and use stencils?
Our friend Rad Schuhart will make up a set to your specifications or you can leave it to him to make up the letters and numbers, either way you will get a top class set for pennies, Goto---
