Ww2 1/16 SAS desert Jeep.

Post by Model Builder 4 »

Morning all,

Here are some pictures of my 1/16 SAS Jeep build supplied by WCP Models :D
It's 4x4 and runs off a 30A esc with a 2s lipo and has functioning suspension and a metal servo for steering. I managed to hide the majority of the wiring and electronics within the bonnet ( hood ) area so no visible wiring running around.
I still need to weather the tyre treads to highlight them but that'll come later.
It was a lot of fun finding and sourcing all the accessories to fill the Jeep up with and I would also like to give a shout out to battleground models for supplying the weapons for the vehicle
Below is a test video taken before the painting started just to make sure everything was good and as can be seen it's a great little runner thanks to the design and build quality of Will ( WCP ) hope you like

Cheers,Lee.

Thanks Herman, praise indeed :D
I really enjoyed doing this little build, very time consuming because of all the stowage/accessories etc but nonetheless still fun.
When I get some time I'll post some pics of the Jeep and my Lrdg truck together showing off the corvert desert forces

Cheers,Lee.

Thank you Will, this is yet another example of one of your superbly designed vehicles and I'm over the moon with it ;D

Thanks for looking in tankme :D I believe there's more stowage on this ' little build ' than on any of my 1/16 tanks :haha:

Cheers,Lee.

 Will and Catherine's model is so much fun! I have far less stowage on mine (also from Battleground), so I am impressed with your SAS version and all the goodies. Yay!
