hi my names john.
im into scalextrics collecting lego character clocks and lego cars.
i was in a charity shop and saw a tank but thought to my self its just a silly kids toy how wrong i was i picked it up and could feel how heavy it was soo bought it it cost me £3 lol so im here hoping to up date it been told it the first gen heng long m26 pershing tank 1:16 scale i need a remote controll for it would like to install smoke

Welcome. If the receiver is still in the tank it should be marked and that should clue you to which controller you'll need. It will have to be bound to the tank, but if it is a newer design it should have a binding button with blue wires. If the tank's controller is an exposed circuit board it is of an earlier design and will require matching crystals. Let us know what you find, and we'll try an steer you correctly.

Also in or "builds" section under "Heng Long Builds" you can find some examples of how that can be tweaked to suit. Also known as the Pershing and Snow Leopard and can be the base tank for the Patton...

Welcome to the forum. The first tank I ever built as a little kid was an Aurora "Patton" tank which the box artwork showed, but inside was a Pershing. Silly Aurora.

Welcome from Wisconsin, US. If you can get some photos of the electronics in your Pershing, it should be relatively easy to identify then and get you running. Are you in the UK? North America?
