M4A3 (76) Yvonne

Post by Rebellion13 »

I have collected most of what I need to start this build, although I still have more items coming this week. I started with the bogies which have a combination of 3 paints. A primer, followed by a textured paint, and then topped with Tamiya TS-28.

Cheers

My original plan was to go with the Kim Olsen MTCU, and I still want to install this, but for the time being I am just going to use the V3 board, I also have the IBU full option (green board). So many options. More to come

Cheers,
Wade

The bogies are on and what a pain, I couldn't find my small screwdriver and there is very limited space.

And there are 90 degree screwdrivers, too. They resemble the venerable "Allen" wrench, but with ends for slotted or Phillips head screws. They are great for leverage, but painfully slow to turn. :haha:

I just use something like this. Ratchet with a bit holder.
Works good and fast 8)

Yeah I probably should have vested in more time looking for my short screwdriver. My son who is 12 has a habit of using my tools and subsequently never puts them back and I just wanted to finish getting the bogies on. Oh well lol. I have a ton of tools, but I am getting ready to sell the house so it is in disarray.

When I was a youngster, my father always reminded me to "put the tool back in its place." As I got to be high school aged, whatever tool I needed seemed never to be in its place where I had put it. I had to hunt around to see where dad left it. Lucky me: I was smart enough by then to keep my mouth shut about it. Geez, I miss him.

I understand. I lost my dad when I was 16 quite a few years ago. When I ask my son where did you put my tools.....shrugs his shoulders I don't know. But he is a good boy otherwise lol
