It looks as if you are using the Carr's 188 Solder Paint to create weld lines. I am not familiar with that paint. I found some explanation of the product on Gwydir Valley Models web site; http://www.gwydirvalleymodels.com/detai ... er%20Paint. I cannot even pronounce Gwydir. :haha: Is it thick like a paste?

Hi Doc - Happy new year!
The Carr's solder is for the brass and steel parts . The welds are my own concoction of dissolved silver plastic sprue / solvent , rolled into thin sasauges and gllued on .

A version of the very rare(by soviet standards of the day)T34 with the first main gun before the T34 that we all know.

"...dissolved silver plastic sprue / solvent , rolled into thin sasauges and gllued on." Yes! A tried-and-true modeling technique that requires patience, but can go quite well. Good job!

Truly great work blimp, I love those early welded turrets. It's a really intimidating scratch build, but yours has turned out spectacularly. I'm really impressed by the brass work on those fenders too, looking forward to seeing more!
