Looking for electronics recommendations
Looking for electronics recommendations
Despite having 7 tanks now not one of them is currently drivable and I am pretty clueless on the electronics side of things as I have been focusing solely structural and cosmetic parts so I am looking for recommendations to get the Panther Ausf A driving as it is the closest to being drivable.
The Ausf A is the heavily modified Taigen Panther Ausf G built by C0MMANDERBEST0N and is currently using a Clark TK40s with a stock Taigen gearbox however it has no battery, transmitter/receiver or speaker and I think I will need a new recoil/elevation system too, preferably one I can set up with exact elevation/depression limits (-8, +18) and recoil distance.
I have also been working almost exclusively with Aluminium and Brass for my Ausf D so I am not entirely sure what glue to use to repair the Plasticard panniers that were damaged in postage.
Any recommendations would be very appreciated.

have a quality radio, allow you to drive several tanks, with a single transmitter (not together of course) for the batteries you have the choice, Nimh, lipo, Lion, you also need an excellent charger (intelligent, and automatic) for the glue there is Cyano or Stabilit Express,

Re: Looking for electronics recommendations
the glue quoted, is only for the plasticard, of course,
Re: Looking for electronics recommendations
The only Transmitter I have, apart from a few stock transmitters, is a FlySky FS-i6S 10CH and an included IA6B receiver

Re: Looking for electronics recommendations
so you have what it takes for the Clark TK 40 s electronics, for the battery? I would say Nimh 7.2 volts 3500 Mah. Attached link on TK 40 s for info

it is possible for you, with this TK to replace the Asiatam system by two servos, for recoil and barrel elevation

Re: Looking for electronics recommendations
This FlySky FS-i6S 10CH and an included IA6B receiver is actually perfect for a Clark board. When you get some of the really nice radios they are actually harder to set up than the FS-i6S and some like my FrSky Q X7 are actually incompatible with the Clarks so I just run the FS-i6S. I have several transmitters, but bind multiple tanks to one so I don't need a transmitter for each tank.
Here is the setup for that radio with the Clark: https://dakrctank.com/sbus-board-radio-config/

Re: Looking for electronics recommendations
indeed, as our friend said, you have everything you need for all of your tanks, a single transmitter, several identical receivers in each tank, and voila, just a different programming on the transmitter, depending on the tank type?
Re: Looking for electronics recommendations
Awesome! Which of the three speakers would you recommend? And what about elevation? The Panther Ausf A did come with an extra servo too

Re: Looking for electronics recommendations
for the loudspeaker, personally I use the 1st, there is enough space in a panther, to accommodate, HP, TK 40s and batteries
for elevation? does it depend on what the gun control system currently has? it would take a photo. Maybe it is already equipped with servos? or Asiatam module (white plastic block)
Original
the board has 3 outputs for servo, J2,J4,J5
J2: canon recoil
J4: canon élévation
