Stuart from Gloucestershire

Post by stuart666 »

Hi There. Im a longtime lurker like many others. I bought my first RC tanks about 20 years ago, the Tamiya Tiger and Sherman. I didnt dabble in much else till about 2015 or so when I got the Heng Long Challenger 2. Currently the collection stands at those, a T90, a very old T34/85, the Hooben T55 (assembling THAT was fun...) and currently working through upgrading the hell out of the Haya ChieftainMk3.

So, no expert on electronics. IM not too bad with airbrush if I say so myself.

Welcome. I purchased a basket case T55 off eBay, but haven't done much work on it yet.

Yeah, the T55 is very 'special'. On the positive side, it turned out quite nice, and runs fairly well, even though the gearbox fell apart and I had to reassemble it with some oversize washers. I really must post photos of that sometime. :D

I’d bet lots of us will be glad to see photos of your Haya Centurion. Welcome from across the Atlantic!
