camouflage newspapers

Post by jee »

Did somebody ever camouflage his model this way?

Never knew they did it, but it seems very effective
They put wet (news)papers which froze very fastly and could be removed later on with warm water.

Wow man, this is just great. If I were building more tanks, one would have this newspaper camo for sure!

:D this reminded me of something I saw about a month ago, early one morning I noticed two office girls on the Industrial Estate where I work sticking something onto the side of a Ford transit van that was parked outside of their office ??? Later that day when I returned the entire van was covered in pink and yellow post-it-notes with not an hint of paintwork showing through ( now that's dedication to a prank ) :haha: :haha: I suspect that the poor fella was off work or something but I bet he had a shock on his return and to the hilarity of the office staff  wish I'd taken a photo of it now, it would not have made for good camouflage but the above pictures just brought it back :D

Cheers,Lee.

I found it on Vkontakte, I wrote to the person who published.

I did some searching and it seems even in WW1 it was already done.

just google on tanks with newspapers and you will get some hits.

I looked if it is possible to read the articles, and then noticed the MG on the other side :haha:
