HL T72

Post by dabber »

Evening all, just a quick question please. Can the track tension be adjusted on the above tank that has metal tracks fitted?. If so a pictorial link would be great, I've drawn a blank on Google.

Many thanks Gary
Take care..........Gary

"Can the track tension be adjusted on the [HengLong T72] that has metal tracks fitted?. If so a pictorial link would be great." I agree that a pictorial would help. And since you are now experienced... just a suggestion... :P :D

You found the answer, but yes. Personally I decided to fit an overbuild idler system to mine from RC Tank Legion, but looks like they are currently sold out: https://www.rctanklegion.com/products/r ... -brace-kit

You can see it installed in this pic and it does require some modifications to fit the "new" T-72 chassis. HL reworked the idler after getting quite a few reports of broken idlers on the T-90/T-72. Ignore the upper next to it as that is my Trumpeter upper I fitted to that lower.

Herman, I was gifted this from a friend. Ive subsequently found she needs some attention, and a cosmetic colour change from desert to green.
