Emptied the storage unit.

Post by Maccrage »

And found my Tub O' Sherman parts. I wonder how many tanks I can build from what's in here?

My kits. Torro IR King Tiger in the wood crate. Sherman conversion kits in the cardboard boxes.

Is the Tamiya Pz IV still in the box? I'm sure there are many here who would like to build that :D I'm still waiting to kit mine out as a Finnish Ausf J- come the Spring and the airbrush weather.
In the meantime, you must be a brace of Shermans in there, at least.

5, if my count is right, and if nothing is missing. I packed it up 2 years ago.

All the Tamiya kits pictured are still unbuilt and in the box. The Panzer IV is going to be kitbashed with the Trumpeter Ausf. H.

When I had a storage unit it never contained anything even remotely as cool as that! Just saying. :haha:

Finally dug into the Sherman tub. I'm missing one Mato M4A1 lower hull, and one M4A4 upper hull. I seem to have far more upper hulls than lowers, guess I'll have to rectify that. There's a complete Tamiya Sherman kit in there. I forgot about it being in there. The box got wet and started to mildew, so it got tubbed.

What's the story behind the fourth from the left, small hatch, cast hull M4A1 (I think)? Do you have the cast turret to go with it? The Sherman of my Dreams (sigh  ) is an all-cast early Sherman.

That's a large hatch M4A1(76)W hull from Mato. There's 2 there.
