Since HEC was canceled, HL decided to put their initial run of 20 slated local sale up on their T-Mall store Saturday night at 2000 sharp & I scored one before they sold out in a matter of minutes. Purchased their top end with all metal upgrades including bearings & it had better show up Monday with a half-naked KTV hostess at this price.

Actually will be for my kids to play, that and a Jagdpanther that arrived last week. Am going to get a KV-1 while local supplies are still good to set aside for one of the Russian conversion kits. My luck HL will announce a KV-85 or SU-152 right after I start this next project.

Those are some nice looking conversion kits, it's pleasing to see the attention to detail like the sloping transmission deck and stepped front glacis. Who does them?

Yes it is a very nice looking kit & from what I was told, sounds more than robust for field use made of ABS, 3DP & metal parts. Is designed to replace the upper HL hull with minimal work. Sure beats the StuG A conversion I'm currently slicing & grinding my way through.

Yes, I, too, am interested in your observations. I hsve two KV-2s, both Taigen “captured” units. I wonder how HengLong’s does with Russian outfitting and sound.
