Nice demo. I switched to the lower ration gearbox (not the heavy duty one)too. Still works much better than stock.

I could not believe the difference when I put low ratio (HD) gearboxes in my Tiger, all of a sudden it could manouvre on grass, definatly the way forward although they are still pricey.

Thanks guys,

And I know you guys can probably even get them cheaper on your side of the pond! But after I shot the video, and got some good responses! Then I thought there has not been a lot of videos showing the difference and showing these gearbox's specifically!
They are a bit pricey and I don't make a whole lot off them,, trying to get a better deal,, but no luck so far! :(  But its worth it to me to have these on hand at least to give the guys some options! Especialy after I had quite a few customers who where striping gears on their Metal HL gearbox's :o

good job phil as you say ive not seen a comparison video yet and those boxes for the price are very good fitted them in my t34/tiger and forgebears mattoro k/t

over here they are about £40/$65

h/long are bringing out very similar  boxes which are a little bit cheaper but not seen those up close and personal yet

that said the gears from rccommand look pretty good seen them in marts (Ex-pats) tiger and they look good ;) ;)

Regards Rob

The new heng long I saw look like the modified  std heng long that forum members have done and Bill RCC was selling on his site! They are good,, but these asiatam units are nice and tight, low profile and really look robust! If they would just give me a little break these would sell like hot cakes guys are already very interested! I'll be carrying the new Heng long as well,, and I will do another comparison for sure!
