Bulldog vision ports

Post by vonrundstedt »

Just a quikie, was wondering what colour to paint the cupola vision ports to make them more realistic?

I did the ones on my Bulldog by colouring them black with an indelible marker, then cut pieces of clear acetate (thin clear styrene would do the job as well) to the right size and shape before glueing them in with PVA. The PVA dries translucent beneath and gives you a nice, slightly dirty look. It looks like glass and reflects the light realistically too. I also did the driver's vision blocks and all the sights and periscopes the same way.
