I can highly recommend Metals4U - https://www.metals4u.co.uk as a great supplier of aluminium sheet, angle and tube as I want to strengthen my Torro metal King Tiger, following Dr Phibes' excellent articles on modding his King Tiger: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=19531
They do small size orders and I don't think they are at all expensive when compared to Amazon or Ebay and they offer various cut sizes so you don't need to buy acres or yards of material for a small job.
I ordered from them yesterday late morning some:
Aluminium Sheet - 1mm, 500mm x 250mm
Aluminium Angle Equal - 500mm, 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/16" (19.05mm x 19.05mm x 1.6mm)
Aluminium Sheet - 2mm, 500mm x 250mm
Aluminium Flat Bar (Metric) - 500mm, 20mm x 8mm
It has just been delivered in a well packaged cardboard parcel and is all in good condition and suffered no damage in transit.

They are my goto for small bore Brass Tube and Pre-Fluxed brazing rod for PE,
