Taigen - Heng long hull and upper deck

I would like to use a Heng long Tiger 1 upper deck on a Taigen Tiger I lower hull, will I be able to use the Taigen quick release to open the tank?

To be more elaborate they have a transfer kit for that purpose added to the lower hull.

Great decision! Exactly the route I took. Very simple but you have to add a metal plate to the front of the HL upper hull to lock into the slot of the Taigen lower hull. One of the best mods I’ve ever made.
