Hail from Melbourne
Hey all, 38 year old IT pro, from Melbourne, Australia. Just bought my first tank (1/16 all metal Mato KT), cheaper than a plastic Tamiya Abrams to get me started!

Hello and welcome to the forum ol soapy one
What do you think of your latest purchase? I'm not familiar with Mato's all metal tanks.
Do you have any other RC experience? Or is this a totally new adventure?
Enjoy the forum.

You have now entered the dangerous slippery slope that's a danger to the wallet and bank account, and in my case a danger to the ears, as my Sheila just discovered my spending habits

So..."you come from the land down under...where women glow and Mato tanks thunder
can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, better take cover!"
Those all-metal jobs are pretty hefty, and noisy- so it will be 'men at work' on heavy metal models
Welcome, Soapy!.

Re: Hail from Melbourne
Greetings Soapy S. from the other hemisphere,
Sounds like a cracking first tank to have! My all metal Taigen Tiger 1 (with some mods) tips the scales at 17 pounds on the head, she's a bit porcine! Do post some pics when she arrives and let us know what you think of her! Good to have you with us!
Cheers,
Eric.

Hello and Welcome! Please do post pictures of the Mato Königtiger when you get it and as you work on it. I have one Mato tank: an M10. It's cantankerous as all get out with great sound.
Re: Hail from Melbourne
Sorry I’m late. Welcome aboard, fellow rc tanker! King Tigers are such impressive beasts! I’m debating on getting a second tank and the KT is very appealing! Post pics as soon as you can.
