If you can't find them on your side of the pond, check with Phil [Blitzkreig on this forum]. He does custom work on the KT's and I'm sure he can help you out.
Check out

Hi jumags are you after the original Matorro gearbox or are you going to swap it out for aftermarket ones. If you are changing the original gearbox I recommend using the low profile superstrong units available from Forgebear or Asiatam 3 to 1 units as the original gearbox is not very good. Hope this helps

you may find this conversion easy and cheap using standard HL metal gears for your KT.
1 remove the old gears
2 cut off pegs
3 make a floor that you can attach new gear boxes to
4 fix it in place - job done
you can now remove that annoying bulge on the front!

What type of gears are those JRC?
I picked up a KT cheap off ebay a couple of weeks ago and I think it's going to push it way to the front of the queue and become my next project.
