1/16 WCP Rakettenwerfer 43 (Puppchen)

Post by Will01Capri »

Decided i needed a small break from the larger models i working on recently.
So made up myself a little Puppchen. I have 1/16, 1/10 & 1/6 now possible which is cool.
The 1st prototype was on skis, however i have designed it so that the skis can be removed and wheels can be interchanged :)

This has been one of my smaller simpler builds, however there is a small brass bush for traverse, the wheels have bearings and the skis articulate and the gun moves fully.
Only on the larger scales can the breech be opened as it is too fiddly for me to make that work on the 1/16 size.

Since the pictures, i have now replaced the barrel with a brass version as it helps improve the look and strength of the model

Done a little side by side of my other German Tank Killers

Thanks Eric
Tiny little cute model to make
This one lends itself very well to a kit sale

Also got the wheeled version sorted aswell, the wheels and skis can be interchanged depending on mood :)

I will do another comparison set of models for 1/10 & 1/6 also, but its a little cool piece

The wheels have small bearings internal to the wheel centre and then sit on a 2 piece brass bush arrangement.

I have yet to pass this one over to my wife to advertise thru WCP.
These ones are ones I built for myself. But I think these will be £35 roughly. So no i dont think you will need to rob a bank.

Wanna bet? To justify the cost of shipping to the colonies, I have to make bank-bustin' orders. Well, it's a neat excuse, anyway.

Postage to US for the small parcel is about £18, for something the size of a Kubelwagen and its value is about £25 and anything larger like a 251 ends up being closer to £60

Enjoy, there will be another part building the one with the wheels instead of Skis, we will also do another in 1/6 scale at a later date
