Welcome back, Brian! :)

Whereabouts are you in the UK? Hopefully, you live in a low Covid area.
As Lee suggested, it would be interesting to see what you have been building in the last nine years.

Greetings Brian,

Welcome back into the fray. I'm a new member but have enjoyed the camaraderie of the forum immensely. Do show us some pictures when you have a chance.

Cheers,
Eric.

Hi Eric, at present I am building a Tamiya Panther type G and a Jagbpanther, both assembled and awaiting paint. I will post some photos when they are completed.

regards

We have a few Jagdpanther builds going currently, and so it will be interesting to see how you deck yours out, Brian. :)
I see you live in Weymouth. Isn't that where they filmed the 'French Lieutenant's Woman', or was it Lyme Regis? No matter, Dorset's a lovely place to visit, and temptingly close to the Tank Museum at Bovington :)

Out of curiosity, is there reason why are you building the Panther and the Jagdpanther at the same time, or can't you favour one over the other? ;)

I had both of the Tamiya kits on a shelf for about ten years, I thought that it would be just as easy to build two as one. As for painting, for the G I favour the dark green, red brown and dark yellow with spots as tank number 301 in 1945 as neither of mine are zimmerit pasted. I have not yet decided on a scheme for the Jagd.
My king Tiger, Stug 111 and Panzer IV are ready for paint. My other tanks are in in various states although I have not yet started my metal Famo and Elephant.
Very handy being so close to Bovington :D

Sounds like an enviable stable of armor. Like the others, I’m ready to see some photos when you get a chance.

Brian,

Sorry for the late reply. I really like the Tiger's; but when it comes right down to it, the Panther G and JP are really my 2 favorite tanks of all time. Your camo scheme for the Panther is also my fave too. I'll be eagerly awaiting pictures.

Cheers,
Eric.
