Just fitted one of these items to sherman, what a hoot ,super slow take up of speed and very slow stopping
it just goes  a lot farther before it comes to a stop, so  much more realistic, and when you move forward you see the tank lift it,s front like a real tank  will bring this with  me to cobbatton, only down side and this may just be me, but if battling with it, all tanks should be fitted with it, as where you can now turn and stop quickly, and fire  etc, with this on board  you have to plan ahead or be taken out very quickly .
Tell you what for £8 it,s a crackling good mod........................

I saw the post about these on the other forum and it looked very interesting. It would be a great way to simulate inertia on a Tamiya, and at a great price. Im going to pick a few of these up on payday.
Have you got any video of the Sherman running with the regulator installed fleshy?

I like the idea of having to plan your driving, much more realistic.

Cheers,
Rik

I use servo-slow units in all my tanks (not for HengLong though - hobby radio only). They give the same effect. Much more realistic startup and stopping. You can adjust the effect too.

Is that the device you were referring to Pete?

Cheers

I hope to make a film at cobatton, it only uses one unit ,wireing is very easy , just have to make a
female to female exstention, too put between the receiver and the turnigy item and just plug the dmd to the other side, it will need only a fine bit of tuning to get it spot on ,but first impressions it ,s great ,and yes Chris it is a basic servo slow but you can use it with motors...........
regret not taken photos but will add them after the weeknd event, the weather is not looking good  but hell they have been wrong before..................
catch you guys then,,.. must now finish tweaking the old pershing  as i am sure that Matt will kick my ass this time.............. well see................
