Compatability questions???

Hi.
First Post for me here so be gentle, we all started somewhere!.
I got the taigen tiger1 kit to build but already I'm looking at using the mato metal lower Hull as for one, the plastic part of the kit lower Hull is a bit warped so even though its out of sight I know it's not right and secondly I would end up upgrading anyway cos I'm like that!. My question is, do all the parts from my taigen kit transfer into the mato metal tub? Does the upper deck of the taigen kit fit straight onto the mato Hull or do I need to get the metal upper deck aswell?. I was hoping to stay with the plastic top so I can remove all the moulded on bits and replace them with more realistic and true to type parts, any help would be great! Cheers.

Taigen do their own metal hull

Taigen hull is only partialy metal.

And about Compatability with Mato - it can be done but cutting / sanding is sequired as Taigen and Mato have different locking system.
