Lion Battery suggestions?

Post by tao »

Was thinking of using a Lion battery to pick up some space inside tanks and hopefully it will last longer as well.
Any thoughts or suggestions / links on a good lion battery and charger? Thanks!

Here’s a good video on making a battery pack. Pay attention to the 2 cell battery wiring. That’s what you need to know for the wiring.

Here’s the batteries I use.

Li-ion batteries are safer and can be charged with the almost smart charger that comes with some Chinese RC cars. It’s balanced but doesn’t have fancy programming features. I can make a picture later if needed.

Another tip buy a li-po charging bag or find a big tin to put the battery in while charging.

He talks li-ion. Not the same I understand. Lipo need a bag and caution with over and underdischarge.
