Bowlmans Panther Build

Post by bowlman »

The first Tamiya Tank I built was the Pershing and they said it was the hardest then I built the Kingtiger and now here is the Panther id say its the easiest  you can build it out of the box with no problems i added a few aftermarket parts barrel sleave metal tracks arbor screens and home made side panel holders can run with the side panels on or off and cant forget the wheel ball bearings all that is now needed is to finish the paint job and add the decals .Its a nice runner to just like the Pershing .

Certainly looks an impressive kit.
Your right, nice details out of the box.
Did the engine deck mesh come with the kit?

Nope engine deck screens are from arbor as is the heater fan screen and blades im thinking of cutting out some patterns on paper card stock and just spot painting the Panther with dark green and red brown  .

Thats a nice Panther you have there Bowlman. Can you give us a write up on how you fitted the Schürzen. Are they metal tracks (Impact ? )

Real nice Job, looking forward to seeing it painted.

Cheers
