HL and Taigen Help

There are a few questions I have.

First, this Taigen smoker's black wire is disconnected. Anyone know where it goes?

Second, this black and red wire came off of the airsoft assembly, where does it go?

As strange as it may sound, that black wire connects to the same point the lone red wire is soldered to that little board, just like the red wire coming from the same plug the black one comes from, is soldered to the other red wire just millimetres away.
To clarify, looking at the picture, red wire from the plug is soldered on the left, the black one should solder on the right.

Edit: give me a few minutes to take a look at one of mine.

Out of curiosity, was that correct where the black wire goes?
