Post by Jimmer »

Looking at the Sherman do I get the v6.0 Sherman Heng long or is the Taigen Sherman worth the extra money .

It depends on whether you are happy with the paint scheme of Taigens Sherman or if you intend to paint and weather a Sherman in a pattern of your creation,
The Taigen body is a pain in the ar*e to prep for paint because you have a choice, Paint round the moulded on fixtures and fittings or scrape them off and replace (At extra cost) after painting,
The Heng Long Sherman body in common with all Heng Long Bodies is devoid of moulded on fixtures and fittings, these are provided on a separate sprue which means that you need only wipe the Tank over with Acrylic thinners before painting,
The V6.0 Heng Long Board is better in some respects to the Taigen V3 board but unlike the V3 you are restricted to using Heng Longs own Transceiver.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

If that is all that concerns you then it is a no brainer,
Go for the Heng Long and add the metal tracks and wheels and anything else afterwards having first shopped round for the best deals.
