Gig's Jagdpanzer E-100

Post by Giganaut »

Evening gents,

i here by announce a spontaneous project that i decided to make and its the said vehicle mentioned in the title. i had spare aluminum colored PLA filament which are old stock from 2015... found out it was still in quite good shape so i use them rather than to leave it to decay. so here they are from start to current. right now clocked in 31 hours and 3 minutes printing this T H I C C BOI.

so i decided to construct the tank with its actual interlocking construction to make the look. and also with the actual armor thickness of the tank IRL. and also cross referenced it with some world of tanks armor stats to make it further.

so i found out i didnt need to cut the panels in segments cause it fits my CR-10S S4 perfectly for the longest parts of the tank

so.... it began

How cool!
1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!

I'm a happy man. 8)

funny how this project was pulled out of the blue after debating to either make this or the waffentrager E-100

first choice is printed but for metal ones, how much do those cost?
