Panzer 4/H/J

Post by jarndice »

I really like the revamped Taigen Panzer 4 Turret, Lots of detail that was markedly absent on the earlier ones,
The earlier Turret had a removable Cupola which the new one does not,
The new one does have a very nice welding effect around its base but it cannot be removed and as the later H and J cupolas had a one piece hatch that presents a problem if you are trying to build or modify a later Marque,
I have converted early Cupolas to later single hatch versions before with little difficulty but a fixed cupola presents problems and I am hoping someone has answers..
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Small disk cutter?

Is this a trend? The new T34 commanders hatch on the metal turrets doesn't even open.

How many Panzer IVs do you have in your fleet, Shaun? Us older 'rolling stones' do tend to accumulate a lot of moss; the 'moss' being, of course, model tanks along with supporting tools, parts, literature and (sometimes)
groans of disbelief from one's other half. :lolno:
A Tamiya Pz IV is still a desideratum?
