Pershing T 81 tracks.
I know that Impact and Kenny Kong do them with sprockets. And I'm guessing that they are both designed for Tamiya Pershings.
I gather one needs these sprockets for the tracks to run properly.
Therefore I'm guessing that Heng Long sprockets won't work with these tracks.
My question is, what does the Tamiya gearbox spindle look like that fits their sprockets?
Or, is there a way to make a heng long sprocket work? Could even the pitch of a Heng Long Sherman sprocket teeth spacing work? I don't mind modifying any sprockets.
Thanks for looking.

the tamiya shafts are a little longer and have 2 flats - I know you'll struggle to get the impact sprockets to fit on the HL driveshafts without getting new output shafts made (tried it - didn't work out), and I suspect that the KK ones will be in the same boat.

Well, one way or another, I'm determined to use these tracks on a Heng Long, whatever it takes, just needed to get it right in my head how to do it before I order one or the other of them. Whichever way I find to do it, I will share on the forum

Oh dear, sorry to hear that
I guess the other alternative is using KV 1 tracks, but will they look an abomination?
I know they work with bulldog sprockets.

Just for the chassis to chop up so that it's unrecognizable, I think not lol.
So, Adam, any chance you have any Tamiya sprockets loose and to hand that you can show me what I'm up against?
Hold on, that Impact Sherman track set I bought from you, did that have Tamiya style sprockets?
