Hi paul Birmingham West Midlands
Hi paul Birmingham West Midlands
Hi everyone I’m Paul new to the tank scene as I have been building and racing model boats for many years from scale to ic boats and also yachts which I race.
I have always liked everything about the war to aeroplanes and tanks military vehicles.
I started building model aeroplanes and tanks when I was a young lad many years ago now.
May I say thank you for excepting me on the forum.

Re: Introduce myself
Hi, Paul
..and welcome. Are you in the UK? I ask because it's easier to suggest where you might get the parts you need for upgrades/mods., if we know where you're located.
If you're planning to stick an IBU2 in there, you could recoup quite a bit of the money you lashed out on the KT by selling the DMD units on. In fact, I might even be interested in the T01 module..
I'm just about to burn my dinner, but here a quick example of what you can find in the 'search box' here:
viewtopic.php?t=22185&p=202149 This is an example of the wiring of a vintage Tamiya KT (by Carl) fitted with the IBu2.
A quick search through the 'Board Index/Build and Mods/ You'll find the specific sug-categories related to your query: 'Tamiya Builds', and 'Electronics/IBU2".
Hope this helps..and now I need a gas mask for the smoke coming oot of the kitchen the noo....
