Lucky man, HB! That looks like a fine collection of British armour, along with the Alvis, for truck-nuts. Pics of 'The Bitch' would be of special interest to anyone working on a Centurion project, I'm sure. You really have to admire the staying power of this particular tank, eh? :D
Alvis once made some beautiful cars. I remember them well, and so did the Bristol company (makers of the Blenheim and Beaufighter in the original aircraft division.).
Try not to damage any pedal extremities in those bone-shakers, on that rough looking course :D Don't forget the Bushtucker...

Herman, I'm jealous!

Some pics of "The Bitch" would be most helpful when I get around to my Centurion build.

Enjoy,
Barry

Will get what I can lads.
Are there any specific close ups that would be better than a general overview ?

Gosh, you lucky man Herman.
When I went to the museum on the Isle of Wight last year, they stopped using their MK5 for maintenance and I missed having a go :'(

I hope you enjoy your time there

Better than giving a round of applause when you sit down with a bare bottom :haha:

That was the biggest problem at nudist camps around dinner time. . . .

Had a great day ! Got up to al sorts of mischief!!
The Centurions are all MK 5 versions, but all have served in the Vietnam conflict.
There was a Stuart there too.
I’ve got loads of pics, so many in fact it will take ages to sort and load them all.
A 93 year old veteran tanker was there in the afternoon for a ride tour on the bulldozer tank, he served about 6 months in Italy apparently in WW2 then the war ended
The place could do with a tidy up but as it’s an actual working museum and maintenance workshop rather than a pristine hall, that’s fine by me .
I will be back there regularly I can assure you.
Pics ASAP
