Post by AshMann »

In order to convert a HL tank with the most recent 2.4ghz system to a clark tk22, would i need to change any wiring to make it work properly?

Rewiring and soldering will be required if you are using airsoft with the Clark board.

Ashman much simpler to use a Clark servo recoil setup and you will have a more realistic plug and play setup. Of course you will need to install the gun recoil and elevation setup with the servos but much easier for me. I've tried the Clark boards with the asiatam recoil setup and after rewiring two setups, both were inconsistently recoiling and sometimes would recoil more than once per shot. Maxmekker and Ian (tankbear) here on the forum sell servo conversion kits and they are super easy to install and no rewiring needed.

Do you have a picture of the servo conversion kit?

Ah okay, does it need anything to hold it in place besides the screws for the original firing unit?
