Upgrade tank

Post by desmo16 »

Good evening to all, my name is Roger and I live in Italy. I have recently owned a Taigen Tiger 1 metal & late version.
This:

I wanted to ask you what you would change to make it more reliable and durable over time.
After the holidays I will order an IBU2 ultimate module and a Visaton speaker.
Sorry if I write wrong but I use Google translator. Roger

I would not do anything to it, just play with it lots, see how it runs, get the track tension perfect. And let every moving thing run in to work smoothly

Enjoy it first before you even change the electronics

Regards.
Mick.

Good morning and best wishes for a Merry Christmas!
Thanks guys!
Is there a way for guys to tension the tracks of my Taigen Tiger 1 late version & metal? If yes, you could explain to me how, maybe with photos.

Did you not get instructions with your tank?

The link you showed us states you have track tensioners/idler wheel adjusters with your tank.

Sorry, I don't have a Taigen Tiger.

Hello,
this is the tensioning system of my tank.
https://www.rctank.de/Tiger-I-HQ-Track- ... lower-hull

To adjust the tracks I have to in my case, screw with the two screws that are under the model frame? Also how do I understand when it is tensioned the right way? Unfortunately, the instructions are very few and are of the first version of the Tigen models.
Please note that the model in question was delivered to me three times broken ... because of the courier. In fact, even after three shipments the tank is still out of use due to a broken left gearbox engine ... the copper filament has been broken by twisting on the transmission axis. As a beginning,
I would not say anything bad. Now I'm waiting for the new parts that the shopkeeper will send me for free.

Good evening everyone,
today the shopkeeper despite the days of vacation has also sent me a new set of gearboxs 4.1.
In addition I took the opportunity to include some spare parts and some upgrades for my tank.
Also ordered a set of MIG colors for german tank and repainted the internal figure of the Taigen set. :D
