Re: Jamming barrel issue
This may sound silly, but simply cleaning the mechanism and removing any dust or grime does help. Also an upgrade to better bb's does the trick for me. I usually discard the stock bb's
Tanks alot....

Re: Jamming barrel issue
I will just have to take it apart because it’s only been fired about 20 timed and has been jamming since Day one

Re: Jamming barrel issue
I've had BB's sticking in various tanks, not all. I cured it by buying slightly heavier polished BB's, never get that problem now. I would recommend trying what Mr c.rainford73 says before anything else
I've stripped down the turrets and not spotted any problems. The cheap BB'S are so badly made, it isn't worth using them, plus they can damage the little rubber bit on the mechanism, I wouldn't use them even in a tank that can fire them.
That being said, as you have the recoil barrel, you're either getting a LOT of BB's stuck at one time causing distortion, or like WarDog says you could have a barrel that's not perfect. The main barrel in recoil slides over the BB tube.
Lastly. It's always best to stop firing after the first BB gets stuck, it very rarely gets un jammed with continual firing. I'm guessing the recoil only jams when there's multiple BB's stuck inside and not just one.

Re: Jamming barrel issue
A little trick used for bb guns seems to work well on our tanks too - spray a little WD40 down the barrel once you've sorted the jam. This helps to seal the pressure joints (the rubber sleeve) which improves pressure but also ensures the balls release from the rubber more easily (which negates the extra pressure building
). I've not experienced any jams since doing this.
Also, when dismantling the gun and firing chamber to clear the blockage, check that the rubber sleeve is sat correctly. I had to replace one firing unit because the rubber had been damaged during manufacture and would not remain in place. S**t occasionally happens!

Re: Jamming barrel issue
Have you found a solution to your Airsoft niggle yet? If you check out the archives here you find plenty of material on airsoft guns in tanks; fixing them; replacing them- and often boosting their Fps rates.
here's an example:
viewtopic.php?f=38&t=12505&p=109899&hil ... ng#p109899
When you say 'recoil jamming' that's puzzling. The Taigen Tiger 1 (mid-production) has barrel recoil built into its Airsoft/BB unit. As far as I'm aware no other Taigen tank has anything other than the hated track recoil, unless it happens to be an IR model, of course.
Anyway, have a good dig around.
