Have fun, I have moved multiple times and now have it down to a fine art, it doesn't stop it becoming my worst nightmare as every time something has thrown a spanner in the works at the last moment.

I was absent from the Forum for much of the year, HB, so have you already said where you're movin' to? Bon Voyage anyway, and all the best
Let's just hope it's the sort of place that will permit you shout, and rant in peace, when the All Blacks lose their next match

Oh dear, sorry for laughing. . . .
I hope it turns out to be nothing serious
If it's any consolation, I dug a three foot deep hole in my daughter's back garden this year to put in a lamp post/clothes pole, discovered a water pipe at the bottom, so, I dug another hole a meter away, when I finished, I stepped back and fell in the first hole

but only one leg up to the crown jewels
Edit; the reason I dug the hole
A simple lamp post. - RC Tank Warfare

I know all about ankle pain, HB. Three years ago,
tomorrow (Advent Day), I slipped on an icy slope in my garden, whilst doing my bit for nature (taking bird feed out for feathered friends). I found my right leg suddenly up behind my back in some impossible yoga position. When I tried to straighten it out, I noticed (to my horror) my foot was stuck in a five o'clock position (Yes..that's right: :teatime

).
Both main joints (tibia and fibula) linking leg to ankle were well and truly mashed...and to cap it all, the ankle was dislocated too

. I don't think even the Gestapo could have inflicted pain like that.
Here's the post-op shot. Foot now back at 12 o'clock..but (gulp) note the trusty arrow on my leg which told the Surgeon where to install the plates and titanium screws. How's that for advances in medical science, eh?.. an arrow from a felt tip pen

Good thing it was reasonably indelible.

..Then again, one foot was practically hanging off, so how could the miss that...

But can you guess what really bugged me?
Well, my brand new Chally had arrived that morning, and I'd not even been able to open the box, before my undercarriage calamity...
Anyway..hope it's just a wee sprain. A wee dram will sort the pain

Oh no Roy, those poor birds, missed out on regular feeding
Oh, and I'm glad you ended up getting sorted
