I am impressed and inspired. I am a newbie to modelling (haven’t built any models in 30 years) I have a bulldog that needs work and I have got some inspiration from this thread. I like the use of copper for the silly flimsy plastic bits.
Currently at the stage of finish stripping mine apart and removing the paint and broken bits.
Oh Boy, haven't played with this one in a while. Thanks guys. I am pretty sure these are ammos, many wartime pictures show a similar storage method. Re-supply was surely problematic for trigger happy ARVN crews. Picture below was the main inspiration for the build. I noticed AFV-Model stopped selling their MLRS tracks for quite a while, too bad, they were a very good match. Now, I need to get back to building a Vietnam era vehicle.Max-U52 wrote:please tell me they filled all those cans with cement or sand or something. I'm not sure it would be a great idea to have all that .50 cal ammo on the front like that. Home-made reactive armor?
