Amazing work. Where do you find room for all the running gears and electronics ? Can we get a peek of that as well ?

Hi,

It is quite an unorthodox arrangement and was a good challenge. The motors with planetary gearbox are linked to the sprockets using a "GPM HARD STEEL MAIN DRIVE SHAFT CVD TRAXXAS" sold on ebay, with 4mm shaft positioned in a way that frees up most of the front driver area. Some adjustments were required to get to the best performance out of this setup.

At first, the ramp servo was positioned inside the engine compartment, but there were too much friction on the push rod due to twisting and turning and I had a failure during testing. A smaller servo and push rod more in line with the ramp was positioned way up front in the driver area. It does not show too much from the rear ramp or hatch, which is what is important. You can see part of the engine hidden behind the front panel. It works perfectly.

If it weren't for the battery, I would swear I was looking at a real vehicle.
