sound files for ibu

Post by percy1510 »

anyone know of a good source for sound files?
I have a Taigen Tiger 1 with ibu2pro and it sounds great but looking at videos on YouTube there are some amazing sounding tanks and I was wondering where I might be able to download the sound files

You won't be able to find very much in the way of ready-to-use soundsets for the IBU2, mostly just what's available on the SD card or on these forums (unless you make your own).

As for those videos, they were probably using different electronics. The way the IBU2 changes sounds makes it very difficult to have a nice transition between the rev-up sound and different movement loops. They're great boards; they've got a good set of features at a reasonable price point, but I've moved away from them because sound is their weak point. Something like the Benedini, Elmod or newer Clark boards simulate the engine sounds and behaviour much better.
