New 3D printer to the fold! ARRIVED!

Post by Will01Capri »

Ok so i have been making waves and lots of searches & researching about this 3D print mallarkey.
Have bitten the bullet and bought a 3D printer, signed up for Thingverse, have been looking for cool sites as to where i can get downloads.
Also have good pointers on parts i need and suppliers of filament etc.

Just have to wait patiently now till it arrives.

Is anyone on here a member of thingverse or similar?
Is there a special RCTANKWARFARE group setup in 3D printing i can join?

Hi, if you have a printer then you could be the owner of a Chieftain or a Centurion, check my threads.

I did see that, looks great. But I stick small to start with and see how we go.
Some stuff we do at work could possibly be a way to help pay for the hobby as I know there are colleagues who.outsource currently.

It's the artillery I seen that really interests me at moment and the accessories that go with.

Now clearing a space in my workshop outside to have a home for it.

What kind of printer did you get?
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Creality 3d Ender

The Cr10 was too 'rich' for me currently.
Since I mean to this game I want to have a play and see how it goes. The ender is.getting great value for money review. It was also cheap with a lot knock3d off.

If we get into it, I may invest in bigger later. The Cr10s looks nice, but everyone has to start somewhere.
I think a first vehicle is gonna have to be a Willys Jeep as I have access to 3 locally to get in person touch and feel and get loads of photos & measurements. :)

The 3 ender is a cr10, just with a smaller print bed, but interestingly with a heated bed that allows it to print abs, so great choice.
