Hi,
Following completion of the build on the Modern build section at viewtopic.php?f=202&t=24973, here are some pictures of my Marder 1A1 for those who like to check out the Show Off section.
The model is made from the following components;
- Ludwigs-Hobby plasticard and resin turret basic kit
- Cannibalizing of a HL Leopard 2A6 lower hull for parts; roadwheels, suspension, tracks, sprocket, Idler, gearbox, speaker, tools
The model features;
- 20mm gun turret rotation, gun elevation, gun flash and sound
- 7.62mm rear turret rotation, gun flash and sound
- opening and closing rear ramp
- scratch built interior of fighting crew compartment, including turret basket
- Clark TK-60 controller with 10 channels Flysky remote
- Head lights, tail lights and interior lighting
- Diehl tracks individually resized for Marder width
I like to model rare armored vehicle I have not seen before, especially APCs with interior details. Hope you like it,
Regards, Louis

I must try and find my thesaurus. It can get a bit tedious otherwise just calling your work stunning and outstanding every time.

Another masterful result, Louis! The combination of the museum-quality model, natural lighting and photography make it hard to tell it's not a real one! That interior is really something else. Well done!

Quite simply, you have some amazing skills, not many do interiors, but those that do seem to have acquired the art that turns a model into something very real. Excellent work.
