This is a very old Tiger with basic sound unit and knackered springs for the suspension these will need replacing as the tank is sitting very low, £2000 is the very top I would pay for this tank in fact I would want it for less, of interest hear is the blank firing system which will have a hand gun if it is black then this would be illegal to sell this comes under the Violent Crime Reduction Bill if it's orange and has a certificate then it would be legal for the owner to sell

MK-1 offers a 6-shot blank gun which has a rotary magazine, they have info on their website.I will take delivery of a 1/6 scale Tiger from legendshobbies.com due to ship on July20th.This kit is alot less money, the lower hull is very much like the Asiatam Tiger hull, the upper hull is abs, with detail parts in various metals. No running gear just a rolling chassis with alot of details.I will try to post a link because these kits are a limited production of 500.The people at legend have been very easy to deal with and allowed me to purchase in three payments over a 60day time span. With shipping the kit is 680.00us,On e-bay they offer the kit for 650.00 plus 150.00shipping.Perhaps Steve@welshdragon could import for uk Tankers? Check out this kit because it is a nice tank with lots of detail for a great price.

Mark 1 blank firing systems use a 6 round mag (I have removed this from the 2 Tigers I have had) or rotary mag depending on the gun he uses now these will come in orange with a certificate or you can have a single shot pyro that has to be reloaded after every shot.

Don't want to upset you but you would have been better off buying the "Field of Armour" Tiger the detail is much better and capable of RC and I think they are a similar price

I started to purchase the Field of Armor Tiger, the price is about the same but after watching the assembly vidio I decided that Legends tiger was better for my skills. The F.O.B.Tiger is not steel rather ABS that glues together.Check out their site and reveiw the instruction manual, their tank is not the same quality. And as far as the r/c assembly Legends describes the issues concerning the Drive wheel placement, and the inaccurate front hull molding. For me this kit fits my skill level and my budget,I am not being critical of the Field of Armor Tiger it's just not for my skill level. Why did you remove the Gun?

Personally I don't like the "crack" that the blanks give as opposed to a "boom" that the main gun should give there is also the problem in England with the VCR bill and hysteria surrounding guns, that and a lot of shows I have attended don't allow blank firing as "it may give someone a heart attack" so I use a Benedini sound system with electronic main gun

I was not aware of the restrictive laws in the UK.Here in Tennessee any one may obtain the right to carry a firearm simply by taking a safety class, and of corse a clean arrest record. Also we have hunting seasons just for black powder gun,AND OTHER weapons as well. Our laws are pretty open but you can still have the issues like somebody might object to the blank gun at a event open to families ie children.I would still like to know about the effect on other systems caused by the firing of the blank ammo. And the big flamming boom cauld be acheived by exploding flour, which you could use with a blank gun. This is an easy method to obtain a load boom and a big fireball, here it is used in reinactments firing cannon.Black powder, shredded aluminum, flour. The black powder explodes igniting the shredded aluminum at the same time the flour is blown out as dust which the burning aluminum ignites into a big flash fire ball.SAX

Blank guns and tanks or airsoft and tanks are a nightmare over hear first you cant have your blank gun venting anything up the main gun barrel so the gun is either mounted under the turret roof on in the hull facing left to right having the gun on it's side causes problems with the reloading cycle also once you remove the turret if spectators See a hand gun in the tank then this could cause problems just by the wrong person observing this usually gets blown all out of proportion hence why I leave it alone.
Reenacts especially with machine guns use gas, they vent a small amount of gas into the chamber then ignite it with a flash and bang someone was trying to adapt this for 1/6 tanks I think he was looking at £800 for the adaption but it's still in development and then would require "home office approval" again a nightmare
