While awaitin’ My first tank HL PanzerIII I’ve been trying to gather information on the Heng Long 2.4 ghz transmitter that it comes with ,series 5.2.
1st. Does anyone know if this model has trim adjustments, seeing two adjustment wheels just below the the controller sticks ...would that be them?
Other question is what the Sam hell is Emuliation action effect?
Hope someone has the answers ....

Hi Ragnar welcome to the forum, Emulation Action is Heng Long speak for sound effects and movement,
I have to say that compared with the old RX14 analogue board of just 10 years ago the improvement is amazing.
Not only plenty of bells and whistles but the darn thing doesn't suddenly emit the magic smoke and die like they used to do.
Do remember that the Heng Long Radio Controller /Transmitter is a closed system, in other words you cannot use an after market transmitter with your Heng Long Control Board without modifications,
The practical way of using an aftermarket transmitter is to change the Heng Long Control Board for an aftermarket board, there is a very wide choice from affordable to very expensive, check through the pages of the forum for more information but initially I would recommend learning about your Tank using the Heng Long system it will do what you want until you get to try something better when you visit a club.

I don't know about 'series 5.2', but on all the 2.4ghz variants I have, only the left/right trim on the right stick is an actual trim, all the other ones are fake.

Thanks for the answers gents.
Read about a fellow having trouble with his tank veering constantly and after a long time trouble shooting found the trim wheel had been accidentally turned and centering it sorted it out.
Also had no idea about emuliation action and as for the 5.2 meant vers.5.2 not series.
PS I hate Sunday’s FEDX trucks don’t move on these days LOL!

Having a HL Tiger 1 with the latest 2.4 Ghz board version. I changed the plastic road wheels and tracks to metal, and am very pleased with its performance.
Heng Long electronics have come a long way considering what you pay for them.
Cheers

Hi Mick,
I changed the suspension arms to metal, but had a lot of problems. The thread that takes the road wheel axle was all over the place. The wheels looked like drunken sailors. Some where so bad they would jam one another. To over come the problem I took some metal out and soldered brass pieces in then re taped them. I also re designed the idler wheels and added a track tensioner.

A view of the original arms. It clearly shows the angles of the road wheel axles.
