Easy ways to fix the HL panther front glacial plate angle?

Post by Jnewboy »

I'm going to be doing a panther and jagdpanther from HL. The bottom angle on the front glacial plate is wrong as many of you know. I poped it open and see that the nylon gears are right up to it. I'm trying to think of an easy way to fix this. Anyone have an easy fix?

I thought about it, and asked DGSSelkirk. Like him, it's too difficult for the inherent fragility. As it stands the top and bottom interlock at the front plate.

I have thought about this further and when I get back around to it I am thinking maybe a false front to increase the angle?
